Trying to catch up

OK - finally starting to catch up on things... I have two classes completely finished, two to go... but have a major lesson Monday for the high school students - I am teaching about blogs and wikis as we start a digital literacy unit - yay I managed to post some more of the Dances series on the web site and actually starting to catch up on things - I really like the Dances series - I have ideas for a couple more - just gotta con my co writer into writing them - hehe - speaking of - been working on some other stories with fabulous people - gotta get those up and all too... My boss liked her gift - I was the only one in the pollyanna for our office to do something funny and all.... she use to be a tech teacher so I gave her some gag tech gifts and then the serious gift was a book called "The Big Switch" which is EXCELLENT - it really gives a cool idea about technology and how it is changing. My goal next week is to clean the house and find some live music :P and can not wait t...

Music that is just "Fantastic!"

OK – from the title, yes I have been rewatching season 1 of the New Doctor who and now have his catch phrase of "FannnnTastic!" in my head :P I changed my profile song and whooo - go listen to this group Nightwish - a writing friend from Sweden (we met through the Sanctuary writing group I have been playing in...) introduced this group to me and I am in loveeee their range --- ok listen to Sleeping Sun, Dark Chest of Wonders, I Wish I had an Angel, Gethsemane, Gothic Sanctuary, Ghost Love Score, ok I still have not listened to all, but if you want to see a range.... whew... I am about to listen to their cover of Phantom of the Opera.... heavy Metal and an orchestra and operatic solos... yes similar to some other great bands.... I will try to write more - been busy - falling in love with Sanctuary and Amanda Tapping - the last show, "Requiem" was my favorite and to me it was such a metaphor for mental illness in so many ways I caught so much, plus the sneaky tribu...

time flies... is it fun?

Yeah a new song -I like this one - it took me awhile to settle on what it means to me (and yes it is Dancer not Dancers and it refers to being a puppet - hence the cu the cord line) - actually I like it more because of my writing - I have this one scene in my head that goes with this song - two characters I have have met many times in previous lives - and with each incarnation they found each other, but then faced tragic death just as they found.... well the song Human by the Killers is used in the present day, when the two are dancing, it is a magic contest (they are witches in this incarnation) and well the one does not know she is a Muse witch - but the music and the magic come up during a dance contest and well, their past lives play, seeing small snippets, of them meeting, being happy and then dying.... it's a bit more complicated, but it is my scene hehehehe and my mind hehehe and I like complicated.... but the question are we human or are we dancer is cool Wow Thanksgiving i...

Sunday Situations

Well put away the halloween stuff and little one wanted to do a bit of christmas I a like sheesh but we got out her Nutcracker collection (dang she has a lot of those and in different forms) and a couple of the other animated things and listened to Xmas music in the car As we were unpacking, we were in the sunroom, which is all windows and looks into the backyard. We look and there is a squirrel on top of the little shed. There is a small tree growing next to the shed and some limbs overhang, well the squirrel plucks a berry from the tree and then goes to the very top and edge and sits there, nibbling like crazy, peeling the berry and eating the inside. It did this for about 6 berries and we just sat there watching it, it wa an awesome daughter mother moment Later we were messing around in Walmart enjoying watching the people and checking out the displays. Another neat things was what we stumbled into accidentally yesterday. We went to the mall after the brownie outing, was just me...

The Week That Was

Actually week was not too bad - although have tests in all of my classes which means enormous piles of grading.... I hope to wade through it all by tomorrow night Been watching this new show, although it is not so new - Sanctuary. It is new because it "premiered" on Sci Fi channel in October - not so new because it has been around for over an year - it premiered as a Web show - which is where I fell in love with it and its main character, Helen Magnus. I had found an RP group - put together by a person who interviews a lot of the actors associated with the show as well as hlpeing to maintain the main fan site. Well we finally started the RP about a month ago and wow - I got to meet a lot of cools people, from all over (this side of the Atlantic and the other as well) - and the stories and writing is cools - I play Helen Magnus (Yipeee I am loving here, the actress Ms. Tapping and the RP Helen) and a made up - Oliver, a Cabal member who is making trouble for Sanctuary. What...

Comment to last blog post

yes there is a reason why I put that song up - I am liking the entire Linkin Park CD actually - it resonates so well of late

Music Rant

ok you know - this new practice of putting only 30 seconds or so of a song on to be played instead of the whole song is BOGUS - like I want the whole song of what I just put up on my myspace profile - so, since i is only 30 seconds I must send you to a possible unauthorized place - and listen to the whole song here :P http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yZIummTz9mM In other music news, Little T and I were in the halloween store tonight (gawd it is fun watching the last minute costume people and all hehe) but a radio station was there and let little T spin the wheel and she won a CD hehe - so we listened to Duffy on the way home - interesting sound - especially considering I a dressing as a hippie tomorrow ok catch ya laters "Leave Out All The Rest" -- Linkin Park I dreamed I was missing You were so scared But no one would listen Cause no one else cared After my dreaming I woke with this fear What am I leaving When I'm done here So if you're asking me I want you to know...

Damn - what a week

Well – I was running crazy last week. I agreed to substitute for the ag sci teacher, which meant I did all six of her classes and then did ALL of my classes and work too…. I learned a lot about taking care of Poinsettias hehe and some other fun stuff in the greenhouses. In turn I taught the students about GIS and GPS – we started a project and I hope to finish it – the students were great – for the most part :P Also finding I am in a very different mindset the last few weeks and well, it's very different from where I usually am this time of the year… it is, I am… different In addition, I had the check engine light come on at the beginning of the week, had to finish grading a kickload of assignments and getting a couple of tests ready. I also am finding this one class I took on extra – a high school Digital Literacy course taught online, is ending up being way loads more work – but on the plus side, again I am learning a lot and interacting with students from an urban New York C...

Happy Metric Day, New song, keeping hope

Ok - yesterday (10/10) was Metric day - so celebrate and go out and walk a km or drink a liter : ) Also was teacher in-service for the high school - taught a couple of workshops and then was off to teach Environmental (working through Earth materials and plate tectonics - wheeeee Made it through lab this morning and now about to go for a walk - hit the comic book shop, then go pick up ingredients to make lots of fruity drinks for tonight as I watch the first disc of a British series called Urban Gothic, which looks to be very cool as the first episode has Jemma Roper in it who I like form another British series - Hex (although Hex was basically a teen soap opera with the theme of witchcraft lmao) - also been watching the retooled Sanctuary on Sci-Fi - will be starting up a writing group for that (I get to play Helen - boo-yaaa) and setting up another group for the tv shows Bloodties (I get to play Vicki - triple booooooo-yaaaaaaaa) So yes, lots of fun tonight.... Also changed up song...

October already here

Wow October is here, ups and downs in this month I like Halloween, Theresa and I already decorating a little and majorstuff this weekend. But it is also Breast Cancer month, in fact Friday is Denim and pink day at the high school - Next Wednesday is my mom's birthday - she died from breast cancer.... strange irony, but then the world loves irony, sarcasm, sadism... well, ok, I am getting funky again, and please excuse me if I do for the next bit, this time period and the anniversary of when she died always give me the blues... but... halloween is around the corner and so is a very busy October.... I shall wear my pink ribbon with happy thoughts, but... sometimes I have to take the ribbon off... sometimes

MIA

Whew and ok I know I have been bad and not updating. August was busy. But Bridging ended up being the best program since we started, everyone said so. And the road trip to Arizona with Theresa was the best, we did a lot, I'll try to list some stuff soon. And i am now starting up all my classes, I have a busy schedule, which I'll detail later, gotta scoot here in a few. Hopefully I should be settling into a routine by next week (ok maybe week after I have jury duty next week and Brownies starts - but after that... :P Been listening to some interesting music, gotta comment on some and gotta find some live music soon!!!!! And yes another weird song on my myspace - hey - it's pop catchy and interesting words hehe Kate Perry - Hot N Cold You change your mind Like a girl changes clothes Yeah you, PMS Like a bitch I would know And you always think Always speak Crypticly I should know That you're no good for me Cause you're hot then you're cold You're yes then ...

Nice professional development workshop

Attended an all day workshop yesterday with a couple of other teachers at the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia. They offer awesome programs for teachers. This workshop covered a personal finance curriculum for middle and high school – it was great. They deliver the workshop by actually teaching the lessons and making the teachers participate as students – I love it. Then hit Chinatown for some nice food, always cool to go into one of the locals only places and grab some yummy food. I do miss living in the city.... Finished the staff training for the Summer Bridging program I coordinate – whew – good group this year, hope all goes well… doing the last bits and pieces to get everything organized. Got selected for jury duty - I will have to go in sept. 8 and see what happens. My online class is almost completed – final grades due the 9th – one more test and a couple labs to go. I am in the middle of the class I am taking – working on Wikis and visual literacy, which means playing...

a movie that caught me by surprise

Ok so - joined netflix and going like crazy with that - it already came in handy as I had to take little one to work yesterday and she watched Clash of the Titans online through that service - I like that movie too, and Sinbad and all those stop motion movies, ahhhh the time before digital hehe The title of this blog however is because of a movie I picked up when in Orlando and finally now watching - Desert Hearts.... can I just say, holy cow and wow and [bleep] Something about this movie just.... kept me watching and no not just the infamous sex scene :P ok that helped... but, just, what a story... what a story, I just keep going wow.... Ok gotta get back to laundry and other work stuff (I am taking this class online about wikis, blogs, the Web 2.0 and other fun stuff because I signed up to teach this special class in the fall... it is fun but a hella lot work - I get to create a Wikipedia entry though as one assignment hehe, what should i Wiki? :P) Ok - catch ya laters PS - i know ...

still stuck

poop plane still having problems, i prolly here until 4 or later crapola

airport blahs

Well, i am typing from the Alanta airport where I am stuck as my flight is now 2 hours delayed, this has been the return trip of delays - my first flight was delayed about two hours and now this one. I have been in airplanes and airports about 12 hours now - whoooo-wheeee hehe I read some of the comics I picked up, typed up a cooooolll plot for one of the writing groups (it is a nice little plot that should be fun), been rereading a couple stories and thinking and then people watching. I have a ton to get caught up on once I am am home, but it is worth it - I had an awesome time on the visit. I visited a couple of friends in the Seattle area. It was awesome, got to see the area, go to Mount St. Helen's and lots of fun (did I mention I created a cool Pirate and watched some cool video game play). There was lots more fun too, but not enough time. I hope to get to go back again soon. I will be turning my focus to the Sumemr Bridging program coming up and then a driving trip to Ariz...

Back home in one piece - on to next adventure

Ok I am back home and the flight home was fine, no probs and everything was smooth - saw my boss in the Orlando airport as she was arriving for her vacation - that was a cool co-winky dink - it's fun when stuff like that happens. I had a good and productive conference - am behind in my work but hope to catch up this weekend. Especially since I leave on Friday for a 4 day trip - whooo : ) I do have awesome stories from my trip - like the one night coming home from Downtown Disney, I was the only one on the shuttle and the driver just talked and talked - talked about his job and the economy and how drivers are paid and how he just found out he has diabeties. It was a wonderful rich conversation with a local and I enjoy those, love to listen. DId a lot of that actually, and that is one thing I love about traveling, learning the stories. I had anothr encounter with locals on Tuesday night after the very FABULOUS Pat Benatar concert - holy moley and holy vocal chords batman that woma...

Hello from Orlando

Well my conference trip has started out interesting so far :P Started with an hour and half delay as they had to have a new flight attendant come in (no idea why). Then on the shuttle ride from the airport, the driver had this static-y Christian preacher on and I got an earful about Ezekiel. The I get to the hotel and find I grabbed the wrong folder and left my conference voucher back in NJ – still waiting to see how that resolves. I make it up to my room – 666 (66 on the 6th floor) and head out to find some lunch. I get rained on and then when I get back to room, my floor is soaked (the maintenance just left, they "vacuumed" the floor and that was it – I think the cooler leaked. We will see… And this is just the highlights, there have been many other wonderful events :P and oh did I mention the huge ass brown moth on the ceiling of my room that has been there the whole day and not moved….. I am soooooooo hitting the bar later hehehe Ohhhhh this will be an adventurous w...

Little pieces of blue paper

Just a short note as heading into a nice three day weekend I got my Standard certificate in the mail the other day. This means I am an official teacher. It is so awesome, finally… yay : ) of course still lots to do but… wow… : ) It is a nice feeling to see that little blue piece of paper, a thing that validates what I do and want to do. Alright, will try to write more later, have NAF conference coming up next week and working on a few other projects… and trying to keep my head clear and not… muddled and down… just gotta dance through life and enjoy what I have, not waste time tripping as I am always looking across the river and wanting something else… Happy Fourth everyone

Dreden Dolls Song - yeah it is different

ok could not add it directly to myspace - here are the lyrics and a youtube link - interesting video they did for it - it kinda - no not kinda- it really fits the song and fits why the song pulled on me - i like the sepia tones http://youtube.com/watch?v=-F6VysDNkpw "First Orgasm" first orgasm it is a thursday i get up early it is a challenge i'm usually lazy i make some coffee I eat some rice chex and then i sit down to check my inbox i only read a word or two i stare across the street and see the churches and the blue the first orgasm of the morning is cold and hard as hell there won't be any second coming as far as i can tell i arch my back cause i'm very close now it's very cold here by the window there are some school kids yelling and running i barely notice that i am cumming the first orgasm of the morning is like a fire drill it's nice to have a little warning but not enjoyable i am too busy to have friends a lover would just complicate my plans so ...

Wow already July

Dang - where did June go? Sheesh Well as I gear up for July - I find I have a little breathing room before things get hectic again. I had my Derm body check and everything is a ok - yay - no suspcious moles or such and no need to see me until next year - just one more doctor to go and then i get to shy away from the medical field once again for awhile (ps - got a little letter that the squish test was ok so do not need that for another year either - double whew) Fourth of july this weekend and so far not doing much - might go catch some live music somewhere - mainly wil be packing as I leave Monday for National Academy Foundation conference in Orlando - I'll be there the 7th - 11th. New Experiences

Ok – did something new today and I liked it. At the school we have a chapter of the Future Farmers of America (FFA). The one teacher who is active in it invited me to be the fourth in a golf foursome for an FFA scholarship fundraiser. I said sure it helps the students and I like the teacher and others in the group. There was just one tiny catch… I had never played golf at all… had no idea – lmao Well it was a blast – 18 holes and they taught me and we partied and it was a great time. Plus I sunk a few putts, was great at chipping and just, it was a long day, but I am glad I went. And yes, I would golf again. Driving the cart was fun too :P Got some projects to finish up tomorrow and started teaching my summer online class. Plus I need to build this bookcase and do projects around the house – damn I need to find someone who likes fix-it jobs around the house – any one wanna apply – cuddling and having wild fun are part of the benefits package hehe Ok off to write and so this and th...

Not liking the boob squish test and other things

Ok – I do not like mammograms, nor do I like bilateral knee xrays. Yes had a couple tests today and man I just – there are other things I'd rather have done to my chest :P but it is important to get regular checks… Working overtime at work to try and get workshops written, excel examples created, curriculum written, working on setting up the Bridging program and lost of other work projects. Even though the high school students' last day was yesterday – I am a 12 month and always busy Also been busy trying to get things ready here as I have a trip coming up. Been scheduling all these tests, trying to get paperwork done, bills paid and house clean. This has just been the week from hell… ahhh well the weekend will make up for it – ohhh yeah baby : ) Other things been catching my curiosity to – one is odd. A couple days ago, out of the blue, I got an email from a woman I had dated a few times. She had gone on to Alaska and things (my sister set me up in Tucson). Well the ema...

Provoking discussion the music way

Ok – I changed the song on my MySpace profile (I kissed a Girl by Katy Perry) – it is a song that can create debate, heated discussion and all sorts of talk – hehe some call it fun, some call it stereotyping and degrading, some call it a way to express inner feelings, it sets views and perceptions and yadda yadda, Katy does like to flirt with hot topics – walking the line and stomping on it - for instance - check the Ur so gay song of hers - ick) I find the beat is pop candy catchy the video pretty standard and fun and hey I like some of the lyrics so – it is my profile song for now hehe - along with it other songs with this theme - what do you have to say??? what songs should be added to the list http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4F06DyWU2F8 – I kissed a girl – katy perry this link is not the video but the lyrics - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Rb-6dRTXsI&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zpI7znS8Fuc – one of the originals I kissed a girl by Jill Sobule http://ww...

what's happenin' and research fun

Well made it through another week - hurray - had a lot of training last couple o' weeks, from word and excel to using GPS and GIS to other fun stuff. Found out a person theresa calls grandma passed away yesterday - my parents and ex's parents are all deceased, so now she does not have a "grandma" and she loved having one... working on getting projects finished up, lots of lesson plan and curriculum writing lately as well as trying to get the summer bridging program i help with setup (paperwork hell) Asbury Park Pride fest this weekend - plan on going sunday Kathouse and Christina Marucci Band playing among others - hopefully have fun, maybe meet some people, and so on (anyone wanna go with.. : ) Also - looking to go to a Bands and BBQ being hosted by the local Arts high school tomorrow, that should be cool - yay lots of music!!!!! trying to pick back up my writing and doing some Tombstone research for a game (ohhhhhh Tombstone people - I need your helppppp) but i lov...

GIS and other odds and ends

Whew busy week, but a bit of a change coming - the college semesters ended this week and the one next week, so my classes are about over, I have piles and piles and piles of grading - lol - but by end of next week, things should be shifting a bit as I readjust my schedule (I get my Monday nights, Friday nights and Saturday mornings back - yipee) I am teaching one summer course, but it is online so not too bad, although I need to start fixing that up and getting it all set... I am adding some simulations and new labs to make it a little more interesting, I hope : ) The high school is also starting to wind down... classes end June 16th, but by the beginning of June, most of my students (as I mailing have juniors and seniors) will be focused on exams and Graduation practice and all. Been getting more and more into GIS - Geospatial/Geographical Information Systems. Through a grant, we are bringing this technology and concept into the school and I am like the keypoint person - actually I h...

La La La

Well keeping busy Thursday little one and I went to see Switchfoot in concert - they were great and little one had a ball, she even met some friends (she manages to do that about everywhere we go) we hung out in the back dancing and just enjoying (Meant to Live and Awakenings are my favorite songs, we are one close behind) My college classes are almost done, a couple more classes, some tests and all set. The online high school class is almost done too... the regular high school is out June 16th - then on to one summer class, a few conferences and trips and Bridging and GIS projects, in general. Alright on to laundry and mopping and other fun house chores

games

yeah yeah yeah ok so was messing with little one on cartoon network and started getting into the games - hehe - especially somehow drawn into this one :P go figure the evil, dark demented one draws me in - I am a sucker for the dark I guess (and yes I do watch Bill and Mandy :P http://www.cartoonnetwork.com/games/billymandy/christmas/

Ramblings and where I am

Took my Environmental Science class on a field trip today - we headed to Wissahickon Park in Philadelphia. It is a cool place and the weather was perfect. We looked at the rocks and also studied the creek/water - it was fun. I always enjoy taking students out and getting out and hiking and stuff. I finished up the History GIS project Friday - we had the students in again and they finished looking for the latitiude and longitude of their battlefields as well as if the battlefield is commemorated by a museum or memorial. I also had a meeting about GIS in general an how we are shaping the program in our school - lots coming up with that. I actually am going to look into getting certified officially in GIS - it is an up and coming field and something to get into if things go blah with teaching, or if I wanted to move, or if the school downsized, etc. I am really interested in it... yes, eyeing another career for a number of reasons... ahhh what a swirly mind and a lonly heart will make...

New comic series catches my eye

Well - picked up a new comic and find it interesting - I added it to my subscription list (they all know me and my box number at the comic shop - hehe- I have a long list :P Echo by Terry Moore http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Echo_(comic_book ) It is intriquing in it is all black and white with a little sepia and mainly baseline drawings and the story looks good. And of course the title character's name is Julie - how can you go wrong with a character named Julie ; )

Checking in

Whoo, another Saturday about in the bank : ) Started with my early environmental lab - we did this cool simulation/activity to illustrate carrying capacity, sustainability and the concept of the Tragedy of the commons. They then had the rest of the lab time to work on an Urbanization lab. After that I headed to try and find some new dress work shoes, mine broke this week :( I have a hard time finding shoes because of my small shoe size. So far no luck, will try more tomorrow. I then did some walking on the boardwalk and now just going to hang for the night and maybe do work - lol - motivation has been something not in my pocket much of late. Yesterday was not too bad either - after teaching my environmental lecture, I met a couple people from work at this place I had not been to before - Flip-Flops - it was a really nice place, good mix of music and nice dance floor. Plus the bartender was nice and nice to look at too hehe. Starting to work on planning the birthday trip for my one ...

Watershed wonderings

Whew busy day. But, a little bit of a watershed (I still do not fully understand why people use that term to mean a monumental point to get over and a turning point in something – a watershed is an area where all rivers and water sources feed into one final point… I guess that is the idea, feeding and collecting into one final point, although with water, that tends to be the lowest point and people use the term more like hard work and "climbing" over a great deal/struggle… hmmm must look this u But as I ramble – HURRAY I finally have enough time to ramble, I will be alright – hehe – but I say watershed because while I still have buttloads to do… I got a bunch of projects out of the way today Plus, the end of the semester is finally starting to swing into sight, basically a month left. This summer should prove to be very, very interesting I think, could be a… watershed summer – lol If I am lucky and life finally rolls a nice break my way, maybe even a hingepoint (see earlie...

Belly Button farting

Alright a quickie as I have been busy and not writing like I should. First, you know, sometimes the conversations my sister Kathy and I have just defy logical, sane, mature thought. You would never know we were grown adults (which is a good thing as the Peter Pan theme runs firmly in my mind hehe) But we spent a good portion of time discussing (drum roll) Belly Button Farting. Yes folks, we were discussing all the ins and outs (or should I say innie and outties haha) if this is possible and so on… I have to say we did not resolve the issue and are preparing to apply for a research grant to further study this issue. But along with that madness (you know, sometimes it really is ok to be insanely mad and laugh at the world – just like in the Avril song "Runaway" laughing so hard it hurts like hell hehe) But oh yeah, along with that – good news, my 9 year old Nephew (peggy's son) is back home. He spent a bunch of time in the hospital because his appendix ruptured – he is d...

a day in the life part 2 - kinda

ok, so I did not keep this up for part two... hehe but hmmm Saturday continued ~430pm - lying in bed trying to nap, knowing I need rest and kathy calls, we talk for a bit and I realize I not tired yet. 5:15 - out to grocery store and grabbing some stuff, been putting off going for a bit. man I put too much lemon in the tea I made to take with, lemon sourness at its best. I have been told I drink lemon with a little tea flavoring hehe... strange, i am not big into lemonade, just lemon in tea and in water 9but no sugar that is lemonade hehe 6 something, talking to peoples online putting stuff up from trip 7 something finally lay down for a few hours late night - grading for classes, posting with people, worked a lot on this new game Cursed Curios - thinking about things and listening to the radio - i flip between about 3 channels so, that was my day (and yes I gyped the night, I'll have to redo this and keep better track,,, :P

A Day in My Life - part 1

Saturday, February 19, 2008 A Day in my life Saturday 6am – get up, shower get books ready for class 630 – drive to Cumberland County College – listen to some Angels and airwaves and then a local radio station plays Breakfast club Saturday morning which I like as it is 80s stuff but in the breakfast club vein – thought about the lab to get ready for it as well as some posting ideas 7:40 – arrive at college prepare for lab 8am – 11 – scheduled Environmental Science Lab (lectures are Friday nights 5 – 8) Today's topic – GeoHazards – volcanoes and earthquakes. Lecture for about 45 minutes then go to computer lab and students can work on lab there or at their convenience – about half the class stays – also their first test is next week o some have general questions 11:00 4 students still working so I stay – as students work, I sort papers, check my high school online class (I am teaching Advanced Web design with 25 students from all over. I grade their assignments, answer questions a...

What Can you Do

Oh on top of everything else that happened today, I had a student break down a little in my lab this morning. She was the last one there and talking about things and it came up that she had been applying for this better job in the place she works for and the politics and way people were handling it hurt her badly (plus they abuse her in how much work she does for them and all...) in addition she's finding the financial burdens growing and making possible difficult changes coming. But this all kinda came out as I was discussing a few things from lab and cleaning up the lab and I could not do much as she struggled with the tears and talkig about it other than listen... but I felt so bad and it made me think about where I am... damn it I hate the f*ing "what can you do... nothing really" feeling, I have such a hard tme with that, harder than many things and i always trying to fight it and end up just as frustrated or making things worse.... oh to be callous, or like the so...

What words can mean

Been listening to a lot of music lately (as if that is anything new lol) but really been listening lately to help my mind through some things. Plus had a nasty cold or something kicking my butt and it still is. So anyhoos, been listening to lots of music and one song has caught my interest a bit – "Shadow of a Day" by Linkin Park. Not along the lines of their "harder" songs so this one has found more radio play. And yes, it has been around awhile, I just sometimes take a while to get to things lol Also funny weird is I've been listening to this song for a bit, before the recent string of things happened so it is like hmm was that foreshadowing lol – nah I just like music :P Amazing how you can say something and mean one thing. And three people hear you and hear three different things.... But I like this song because of the many ways one can interpret the lyrics, plus the music and lyrics are juxtapositioned a bit.
